You're great at what you do. Shouldn’t your shop and the team be, too?
We’re not your average repair shop. No pay traps, and no endless guessing games. Just a steady flow of vehicles, a supportive team, and a shop that respects skilled technicians and the work they do.
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Diagnostics Technician who enjoys solving problems, finding root causes, and fixing vehicles correctly the first time. If you're tired of jumping between shops looking for the right fit, this may be where you finally settle in.
About the Role
As a Diagnostics Technician, you'll be responsible for identifying and repairing complex vehicle issues across multiple makes and models.
Responsibilities include:
Perform advanced vehicle diagnostics using scan tools and systematic testing procedures
Identify root causes of electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, and performance concerns
Execute mechanical repairs and corrective actions based on diagnostic findings
Perform inspections, maintenance services, and safety checks
Document findings clearly and accurately for service advisors and customers
Work closely with the team to improve workflow and maintain repair quality
Keep your work area organized and maintain a professional standard of workmanship
Stay current with changing automotive technology and diagnostic procedures
What We're Looking For
Strong experience in diagnostics, electrical systems, and general automotive repair
Ability to diagnose concerns accurately instead of replacing parts through trial and error
Experience with scan tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic procedures
Independent shop experience is a plus
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail
Valid driver's license with a good driving record preferred
ASE certifications are appreciated, but proven skill and experience matter most
Why Technicians Stay Here
Consistent workflow
Strong service advisors that help set technicians up for success
Organized shop processes that reduce bottlenecks
Supportive leadership
Team culture built on respect and accountability
Competitive pay based on experience and ability
Opportunity for long-term growth and stability
If you're ready to work in a shop where your diagnostic ability is respected and your time isn't wasted, we'd like to talk.
